ZINE CUISINE
A project assigned in my second semester, freshman year 2D Design course. The goal was to be able to create compositions using the Gestalt principle. This suggests that the human eye will naturally follow lines, curves, and paths, perceiving elements paired to those paths as relevant to one another and grouped.
We separated the principles into these guides for reference when building compositions for our zine pages:

INSECTOPIA
My favorite of the zine collection, Insectopia! This concept delivers a comedic and almost edgy inside perspective to a bug's day-to-day life, with a surreal tang leaving you wanting to know more.
GRIT & GRIND
This zine was more of a personal project, aiming to showcase some of my digital illustrations vibrantly and dynamically. I had a blast getting to experiment with colors and composition while thinking about the best way to display my work!
